AI Agents (Metal Collar)
AI Agents: The New Workforce
AI agents — what we call Metal Collars — are your team of autonomous AI workers, applying artificial intelligence to run your organization's operations. Weoll delivers a complete AI workforce made up of autonomous agents, each with its own specialty, able to make decisions and carry your business processes end to end.

Governed Autonomy
The Metal Collar works freely while control always stays with you.
What is an AI Agent?
"What is an AI agent?" is the most consequential question in enterprise digital transformation right now. AI agents are digital coworkers that apply artificial intelligence inside business processes and act on their own toward defined goals. Rather than handing over information passively like an AI assistant, each agent understands the organization's strategic objectives, analyzes the data and runs the process end to end.
At enterprise scale, AI agents are a group of autonomous workers that carry complex operational cycles through to completion within the authority you grant them, without human intervention. Weoll's enterprise AI solutions, backed by a robust AI agent software layer, make these agents a natural part of your organization: they interpret data, run the decision logic and complete the operation without interruption.
Chatbot, AI Assistant, RPA, Workflow, AI Agent: What's the Difference?
Chatbots, AI assistants, RPA, workflow, AI agents — a lot of terms have entered the conversation in recent years. These technologies complement each other, but they do not do the same job. Chatbots and AI assistants make information easier to reach, while RPA and workflow systems automate processes against fixed rules. AI agents bring all of it together: they interpret data, decide, and move the process forward on your behalf. That is why an AI agent is not just a tool but the new face of the digital workforce. Weoll's advanced AI agent software makes the difference in your operations.

Let People Create Work, Not Shuttle Data
Most enterprise processes actually follow the same shape. A request is created, details are checked, a manager approval is awaited, a record is entered into the ERP, a report is updated and the relevant people are notified. Completing one piece of work means dozens of small steps and constant switching between systems.
Even when workflows are digital, most of these steps are still carried out by people. Workflow systems apply predefined rules and have to be rebuilt whenever the process changes. Chatbots and AI assistants surface information, but acting on that information is still the employee's job.
What's actually needed is a new operating model — one that understands the data, weighs the context and takes the actions that carry a process to its goal.
A New Digital Coworker for Your Processes
The Metal Collar works as a natural part of your processes. When a request arrives it analyzes the relevant data, gathers what it needs from other systems, evaluates the business rules you defined and executes the next step automatically, within the authority you set.
This approach rests on Governed Autonomy. You decide which calls the AI makes and which require human approval, so processes speed up while control stays with your organization.
The Metal Collar is not a standalone AI tool. It shares the same data structure as the Weoll iBPM Platform, the applications you build with AI App Maker, task management and every other Weoll solution — so there are no new integrations to build and no data to shuttle between systems.
The result: your people spend their time on work that needs expertise instead of moving data between systems, while the Metal Collar handles the repetitive operational steps and keeps processes moving.
How Does an AI Agent Run a Process?
AI agents are not automation tools that simply execute commands. To carry a process to its goal they gather the information they need, assess the current state, determine the next step and act. Every time new data arrives they run the same loop again, so processes keep moving while adapting to changing conditions.
This operating model has three core steps:
Perceive
The agent starts by understanding the process. It analyzes the incoming request, the uploaded document, the changed data or a new condition in the system. Where needed it pulls extra information from the ERP, CRM or other enterprise systems to build the context it needs to decide.
Decide
It evaluates what it gathered against your business rules, company policies and process goals, then decides which step proceeds automatically, which needs human approval and what additional information should be collected.
Act
It executes the decision and moves the process forward: creating a task, assigning it to the right person, requesting manager approval, opening an ERP record, sending a notification or triggering the next workflow. People step in only where genuine expertise and judgment are required.
What Happens When a Request Comes In?
Let's walk through this model with an expense request.
The employee's only job
Upload the expense document — the AI Agent handles the rest
- 1 Expense request created
- 2 AI Agent analyzed the invoice
- 3 Budget checked
- 4 Compared against policy
- 5 Risk assessed
- 6 Approval flow started
- 7 Accounting record created
- 8 Payment scheduled
The employee only uploads the expense document. Every remaining step is carried out by the AI Agent, within the rules and authority you defined.
Control Always Stays With You
AI agents can decide, but your organization always defines their authority. Governed Autonomy is the foundation of the approach.
- Human approval can be made mandatory at critical steps.
- You define which decisions the AI Agent is allowed to make.
- Every action is logged and can be audited retrospectively.
- When processes change, rules can be updated and the agent adapts to the new structure.
Operations get faster without ever giving up governance, security or control.
A Metal Collar for Every Department
Metal Collars are not general-purpose AI tools doing one job. Each works in a specific domain, runs its own processes and, when needed, teams up with other Metal Collars.
Human Resources HR Agent
Kicks off onboarding for a new hire, plans user accounts, raises equipment requests, prepares orientation tasks and assigns first-day training. The HR team focuses on employee experience instead of chasing operational steps.
Finance Finance Agent
Analyzes expense and invoice requests, checks budget availability, compares them against company policy and starts the approval flow at the right priority. Finance teams handle only the exceptions that need judgment.
Operations Operations Agent
Evaluates inspection data from the field, spots deviations, prioritizes them and notifies the right teams automatically. Operations managers act instead of collecting information.
Quality Quality Agent
Classifies non-conformance reports, launches CAPA processes, informs the owners and tracks progress. Quality teams spend their time on continuous improvement rather than operational follow-up.
Information Technology IT Agent
Analyzes and prioritizes support tickets, detects recurring issues and routes them to the right team. IT teams focus on solving problems instead of triaging them.
The New Org Chart, Now Including Metal Collars
Whatever hierarchy and chain of decision your organization has, your Metal Collar team has one too. Not a scattering of bots — a real organization.
Weoll Core Orchestrator
The central intelligence of the ecosystem. It coordinates data flow between every department agent, resolves priority conflicts and proactively raises a flag when things drift from company goals.
Each one manages its own sub-agents. The Finance Agent, for example, coordinates the invoice, expense audit and budget agents.
Example task flow:
A new employee is starting
Starts the process and routes it to the HR Agent
Prepares the onboarding plan and raises the equipment request
Hands the task to the Finance Agent for budget approval
Checks budget availability and starts the approval flow
On approval, brings the IT Agent in
Provisions accounts and access — the process is complete
Five departments, one coordinator, no interruptions. Nobody writes an email just to wait on someone else.

The size of the impact depends on the process, your data quality and the level of autonomy you define. In a demo call we can put together an estimate specific to your process.
Why Weoll AI Agents?
AI agents do not create value on their own. The real difference appears when your processes, your applications and your agents all run together on one platform. Weoll AI Agents were designed so you can manage enterprise operations as a whole.
One Platform, One Data Structure
The Metal Collar shares the same data structure as the Weoll iBPM Platform and AI App Maker. Processes, applications and agents work together with no extra integrations.
A Coordinated Agent Architecture
The Weoll Core Orchestrator coordinates the department agents. Processes are never limited to a single agent — when needed, several work together to finish the job.
Adapts to Changing Processes
The Metal Collar does more than execute predefined scenarios. When something unexpected happens it weighs the alternatives, proposes solutions and moves the process forward within the rules you set.
Governed Autonomy
You decide which calls the agents make and which steps need human approval. Every action is logged and can be audited retrospectively.
